CHAPTER 14. TRAFFICCHAPTER 14. TRAFFIC\Article 2. Local Traffic Regulations

(a)   It shall be unlawful for a delivery truck/vehicle to stop in either the east or west bound lane(s) of McKay Street, between Labette Street and Cayuga Street, for the purpose of delivering any item to a business/residence, during the following specified hours, specifically 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

(b)   Violators may be cited for said offense(s) into the Frontenac Municipal Court. Upon a finding of guilt said subject may be fined not in excess of two hundred dollars ($200.00) per violation. If in any calendar year, the same individual is found guilty and or pleads no contest to said offense resulting in three convictions of this article then said fine(s) may be increased to five hundred dollars ($500.00) for subsequent violations.

(c)   It shall be a violation of this article for a business making deliveries in the City of Frontenac to not have a valid city license issued by and through the Frontenac City Clerk and or his/her designee, said city license must be renewed annually. Any business operating and or delivering within the city limits of Frontenac, Kansas, that has not secured a valid city license shall be found in violation of this article and may be subject to a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day for every day that said business continues without purchasing a city license.
